The Question
Hey this question is for SBI4U unit 1 lesson 2 Question 6. I was wondering why the H3N+ on glycine change to an H2N after the peptide bond. Also why did the O- on the Valine amino acid change to an OH after the peptide bond. I thought only the amino group of one amino acid and the carboxyl group of another amino acid where affected in a peptide bond.
Thank you
