Here is an example of a mnemonic: you can remember the names of the Great Lakes with the mnemonic HOMES: Huron, Ontario, Michigan, Erie, and Superior. You can also make up sentences. Here?s another example: My Very Eager Mother Just Served Us Nine Pizzas, which is the nine planets Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune, and Pluto.
